Assembly & Tests

Our assembly is set up for the completion of cylinders up to approx. 15,000 - 17,000 mm stroke or 25 to total weight. We generally assemble horizontally as we can thus ensure a very high flexibility for all cylinder types.

On existing test benches internal pressure tests up to 600 bar can be carried out whereby test pressures up to 350 bar are standard.

For telescopic and plunger cylinders there are special test racks and frames available.

The low temperature joining of bearings using nitrogen is a usual method at Ruhfus when critical loading cases are present on rod eyes and bottom eyes are present.
