2. Data processed for the operation of the website and the creation of log files
a. What data is processed and for what purpose?
Every time the website is accessed, data is temporarily stored that may allow identification. The following data is collected:
- Date and time of access
- IP address
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Website from which the website was accessed
- Websites accessed via the website
- Visited page on our website
- Message as to whether the retrieval was successful
- Amount of data transferred
- Information about the browser type and version used
- Operating system
The temporary storage of the data is necessary to enable the website to be delivered. Further storage in log files takes place to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of the information technology systems. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes.
b. What is the legal basis for processing this data?
The data is processed based on Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR.
c. Are there other recipients of the personal data in addition to the controller?
The website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th St., Floor 2, San Francisco, CA 94103. The hoster receives the above-mentioned data as a processor, for which EU standard contractual clauses have been concluded. Webflow Inc. is certified in accordance with the U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
d. How long will the data be stored?
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.
3. Matomo Analytics
We use Matomo Analytics to analyse general visitor behaviour on our website. Data such as your IP address and geolocation are automatically anonymised to such an extent that they can no longer be assigned to individual persons.
Matomo also does not carry out cross-website tracking, such as Google Analytics.

The data is processed based on Art. 6 para. 1 letter b (fulfilment of contract) or f (legitimate interest) GDPR.
c. Are there other recipients of the personal data in addition to the controller?
The data entered in the form will only be passed on to third parties to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of a contract, e.g. in connection with the dispatch of goods by service providers commissioned by us.
d. How long will the data be stored?
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the answering your request, this is the case when the matter is solved to your satisfaction. If a contractual relationship results from the request, the retention periods for business letters and documents relevant under tax law in accordance with the German Fiscal Code and the German Commercial Code apply.

d. Right to erasure:
You can request the erasure of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.
e. Right to restriction of processing:
In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
f. Right to lodge a complaint:
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority of your choice in accordance with Art. 77 (1) GDPR. This also includes the data protection supervisory authority responsible for the controller State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
g. Right to data portability:
If the requirements of Art. 20 para. 1 GDPR are met, you have the right to have data that we process based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to third parties. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. They are therefore not based on consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, but are justified pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The requirements of Art. 20 (1) GDPR are therefore not met in this respect.
II. Right to object and to withdraw given consent to data processing
a. Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR:
You have at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, the right to object to the processing of your personal data, which is based on point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website.
b. Right to withdraw given consent pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR:
You have at any time the right without giving reasons to revoke the consent given to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR. The controller will then no longer process the personal data, but we would like to point out, that it will then no longer be possible to respond to your inquiry, as the data requested in the contact form is absolutely necessary to complete this task.
